Anyway, I want to get to know some of you a little bit more! It's nothing invasive, promise. What I'm proposing is...!

You see, I used to work at a magical cafe called "The Midnight Grind." Currently, I don't work as a barista but I'll have to polish up my skills again. These are a small sample of the drinks I would serve to customers from all different corners of all the different worlds!

Anyway, just look at this image and see which drink and description you're drawn to most, and let me know! It gives me a good idea of what to make for others in the future. Just have fun with it! Oh and maybe tell me about your favorite drink?? ☕🍵

My recommendation for you would usually gear towards tea but
Oren did make this really good caramel latte that blended in port wine...

If you're a professor, then you ought to think about the science of it!
What do you think you think happens when you reduce port wine, which is, notably, a sweeter red wine compared to other varieties?

You do realize there's multiple disciplines, don't you? Mathematics is not going to elucidate the mysteries of flavor, to me.

But fine. I will bite. I will assume the reduction is sweet.

And with that reduction, you combine and emulsify it with other ingredients like browned butter and sugar
This unique wine-tinged caramel is mixed with a high-quality black coffee steamed milk.
And what you get is a decadent autumn drink that has hints of that red fruit.

I haven't mastered it myself yet, but it really is good, I'm not pulling anyone's chain.

Who even thinks of things like this.

I'll have to practice making the caramel part, but I think my version can hold up to the Midnight Grind.

Well, I did say, the cafe is magic.
Sometimes people find the door and it's easier if you're magically inclined to begin with or some sort of psychic.
It's a "corner of your eye" sort of deal.

That feels like a typical mage mindset. "Oh, look at our magical cafe only we can go to."

How do you stay in business if not everyone can find it?

After working for her for a year, my boss isn't very "typical" even for a witch.
And we have regulars! It's not so much about making a profit as it is meeting people from different places.
The boss is very passionate about other people.
I mean, what else drives a person to make a corner of the universe into a normal-ish cafe?
