A new Application icon has appeared on the home screen of your character's device! It pops open on it's own, welcoming the user and telling them that all Lost Souls need to join!

It doesn't specify by whose order, or if it actually is mandatory, but why think too hard about it? A lengthy and extremely technically worded Terms of Service appears, but why scroll up to read all that? There's a large ACCEPT button front and center! (There doesn't seem to be a Decline button. Closing out of the App is the only way to not agree... Might want to just delete the App to be safe)

Accepting moves users forward to App Permissions! A Helpful Window says "Accept All and your profile will be auto-generated for you! Great for speeding set up along! (Recommended)". If that doesn't sway, then each Permission question can be prompted individually. The subsequent windows ask for a variety of totally standard and absolutely above board access prompts. Location Data, Photo/Video Access, etc etc etc- Yes or No! REMINDER: The app will function better if all access is granted!

It doesn't seem to matter what is pressed- all, some, or nothing- the App moves forward for users regardless.

Swipe Left or Right, accepting the green or red... proposals? Is that what they are? The App immediately starts a Live Chat between the two parties, complete with recommendations for either highly rated Love Hotels or... discreet alleyways with nearby emergency clinics. (These might get presented to the wrong matches from time to time, coding is hard).

ALGORITHM
Stalling on the profile for more than a few seconds results in a loading graphic of a little dancing fire. **Calculating!** it says;

Ding! The In App Algorithm has decided for you! How convenient. The person whose profile was being looked at automatically gets sent a FUCK ✓ or FIGHT ✕, complete with that same live chat initiation mentioned above.

Rarely, there's a third option, essentially an algorithm fail state called CHILL, which still initiates the live chat. That means the system didn't find either of the other two options appropriate. Bummer. It generates completely random suggestions on where to meet, doesn't the DMV sounds like a great place to hang?

PROFILE QUESTIONS - MAY
While exploring the App, it will randomly prompt for answers to Profile Questions! Users can choose to chat about these instead of using the Swipe or Algorithm features. Answering questions gains little tokens. Wondering what those can be used for? Good question, because it's not an implemented feature just yet. Who doesn't like to see numbers go up, though? Collect them dragon-coins, maybe they'll be worth something one day.

-Post a profile below, include IC answers to the Profile Questions, and/or tag around to other characters using the SWIPE and ALGORITHM prompts! Blame as much as you like on Ydris' at times shoddy programing! Have fun!
-Feel free to repost the Profile HTML provided for IC inboxes if you like, but please do not take these out of this post and make individual EMBER profiles on the Network, as that would clutter up the main network very fast.
-Check out Ydris' OPT-IN if you want them to have access to your character's information through this app. This is NOT required to play around with this. The ToS basically just applies normal network rules to this post, messages are public unless explicitly marked [private] in the header. (Ydris will not have access to Private Messages unless the player Opts-In!)

I mean, from what I've been gauging off of many people on this app, 'both' seems to be a pretty viable option.

we simply refers to ourselves as mankind
or humanity i suppose

we tend to be a little more specific depending on where a person is from
i for example would be considered an amaurotine as i hail from amaurot

though those that call themselves human here are different

its a gleaming city with spires that rise into the sky
describing it alone wouldnt do the city justice
just know that is the capital city of etheirys

etheirys is the name of the star
or world if thats the term youre more accustomed to

well for one they dont have glowing eyes
for two they lack the ability of creation magic
though ive noticed some have other forms of magic

there are regulations on creation magic of course
one can go around creating creature concepts without going through the proper channels
thatd be pretty dangerous after all

every day items are another story
and i wouldnt say it gets boring

just because one can doesn't mean it'll turn out as expected
creation is like any art form it requires practice and a bit of skill
and enough aether to do so

for example i can create an apple but it wont taste right

for that reason we have farms and chefs and breweries

some can but most rely on others to provide those things for them

just as other people would pursue jobs that suit their skills we do the same

Okay. So it's pretty much intigrated to work along side normal life then. Or, like, a functioning economy at least.

Now here's my question.
What if people start using stuff like that for like petty disputes and the like?
Or using it to create substances that may have effects on people?
Wouldn't abuse or escalated tension form between people?
After all, not everyone gets along with everyone, and I can't imagine if someone isn't petty or angry enough they wouldn't use such power to do something dumb.

But maybe just not dumb enough to get too much notice?
Or perhaps just do enough to try and get away with it.

people do what they can for the betterment of the star
squabbles and the likes happen but by and large people are more concerned with bigger issues

itd be silly to focus on petty as opposed to bettering the lives of all
