Hey there, to all the friends, enemies, and lovers!
I'm known as "Monts" and I'm an officer from the Tamamo Clan. Happy to make your acquaintance. With the new crop of Lost Souls that have found this corner of hell, I hope you've settled in with whatever faction you're assigned to and that you had a great welcome. 💖
Anyway, I want to get to know some of you a little bit more! It's nothing invasive, promise. What I'm proposing is...!

You see, I used to work at a magical cafe called "The Midnight Grind." Currently, I don't work as a barista but I'll have to polish up my skills again. These are a small sample of the drinks I would serve to customers from all different corners of all the different worlds!
Anyway, just look at this image and see which drink and description you're drawn to most, and let me know! It gives me a good idea of what to make for others in the future. Just have fun with it! Oh and maybe tell me about your favorite drink?? ☕🍵
[ooc: OTA and feel free to threadjack around!]

It's nothing really.
To "tag" yourself is to choose a label essentially.
That said, I could suggest a drink for you off the "menu" I provided here.

[It's one thing to learn how a smartphone works; it's another to learn The Culture. He did try to read through Hizen's earlier post about memes, to his credit-- and got absolutely nothing out of it for all his trouble, of course. Something about this almost, er. Anthropological.]
Now that you've explained it, I think I could choose one for myself, but I'd be interested to hear your impression. Please, go right ahead.

I know
Rose genmaicha!
[A real blend by the way!]
Toasted brown rice, green tea leaves, and rose petals... With a hint of bergamot oil!
It has a very refined aroma and a toasty flavor.
The rose petals give it an unusual softness.
Aha, I'd say my tea knowledge isn't as strong as coffee
But it's good to have to take a break from it.

Now, what would rose genmaicha say about me? Something close to the matcha latte, I imagine?

It's not very outrageous as you can tell. But that's because tea without any additional flavorful flair is somehow straight forward and subtle at the same time?
Hope that makes sense.

All very astute judgments. The surprise, in particular. Just like adding a new floral note to a familiar blend, it's still something a little different and unexpected. Even if it isn't quite so radical as that caramel concoction? (o˘◡˘o)
[and, because he is still horrified by that monstrosity that Sholmes is almost certainly going to try eventually.] I hope, for your sake, that it isn't ordered regularly, by the by...

Oh, you've learned how to use the emotes! I hope you've been having fun with them q(≧▽≦q)
I had one customer back at the cafe that would order it more often than I'd like.
Sugar concentration aside, it was the task of putting it all together that was troublesome.

As I mentioned to Miss Okumura, it must be the novelty of it that's so enticing to them. Perhaps the key might've been to subtly drive them towards something less complex.

You've got the right idea
It was something that he told me couldn't recreate where they're from since all the ingredients were specifically so human in their origin
But I do think he just liked numbing his taste buds. What a pain.

In that case, I'm tagging myself as someone who enjoys using my tastebuds to taste, Miss Monts.
