[locked to dept of the enma] video; un: sannan
[Sannan is dressed fairly formally, in Western clothes with two swords at his hip, so he looks sort of... official. Which might make this come off as way more passive-aggressive or official than is entirely intended. I mean, it's intended to be passive-aggressive, considering he is how he is, but he'll say the following with an utterly pleasant, head-tipped, eyes somewhat closed smile.]
First, let me introduce myself. My name is Sannan Keisuke, a recent arrival. I have been given the privilege [the way he says privilege tho] of joining the ranks of the Department of the Enma. I'm quite unfamiliar with this sort of technology, so forgive me if I do something incorrectly.
[He shifts slightly.] To the point then. I, and several of my fellow new arrivals, have been experiencing difficulty acquiring information about certain aspects of our duties. It must also be noted that fellow Lost Souls who shall remain nameless, but who report to other factions, have been greeted with information about rules, regulations, leadership, and even dress codes.
One wonders, then, if there are any such requirements for our faction. This is merely a personal inquiry, as I have little desire to pin any one person to responsibility they do not wish to hold. Therefore, if someone with more tenure and experience could see fit to enumerate upon such things for those of us newly arrived, I will gladly facilitate dissemination of such information to fellow newcomers, and alleviate any burden upon those already far busier than myself.
Thank you for your time, and for your efforts which have preceded our arrival. We will all assuredly do our utmost to do honor to the tasks set before us. [Thinking back. To arrival. And sharks.] No matter how interesting they may be.
[And he parts that whole thing with a formal bow.]
[OOC: This is open to all Enma, feel free to threadjack and go wild on the answers!]

Come to think of it, a welcoming committee might be a good idea!
Combined with some small orientation, meeting and speaking with other members and receiving a brief training!
It must be hard for those members new to the city to find themselves here without support. It is a very different place, I imagine, from all other worlds out there!
Have you found yourself adjusting well?
rengoku the love of my life
I would be interested in assisting with welcoming and orientation, should it be deemed necessary and appropriate. I tend to overly inform myself, and it wouldn't be difficult for me to assemble materials or disseminate information.
I'm adjusting as well as can be expected. This place is far more technologically advanced than where I come from, so there is a bit to be learned.
you have excellent taste
Advanced, is it! I have learned a great deal about technology here, too.
Most recently, I have learned the power of expressing one's emotions through this text feature!
(✧∀✧)/
Tell me, Sannan Keisuke, what is your world like?
i cosplay him too lmao ;;;;;;;; he!!!!
...What is that symbol supposed to be?
[Derailed.]
As for my world, I wouldn't know how to begin to describe it. Guns were newer technology for my country, as were steam-powered ships. Unfortunately, my country was also at war, and I was party to part of it. Most recently, I was learning Western medicine to a degree.
awww nice!!
There are a variety of them on this typing box!
\(^∀^)メ(^∀^)ノ
There are many people coming from worlds of war, it would seem...
Western medicine, is it! Are you a doctor of some sort?
/o/
How does one access them?
...-.-...
[He's trying. That was an accidental send while he was mashing things trying to find it, okay.]
Not a doctor, unfortunately, but a man of science so to speak. I believe I could be called a researcher. In addition to being a warrior, of course.

A fine choice for a face!
A researcher and a warrior. What was your research specialty?

(☞゚ヮ゚)☞ What does this one mean?
Essentially, I was researching a cure for a condition I and my men were afflicted with. Medicine, after a fashion.

⊂( ´ ▽ ` )⊃ You may poke me as you wish! My arms are open!
I believe that your talents will be quite useful here.
