I'm known as "Monts" and I'm an officer from the Tamamo Clan. Happy to make your acquaintance. With the new crop of Lost Souls that have found this corner of hell, I hope you've settled in with whatever faction you're assigned to and that you had a great welcome. 💖

Anyway, I want to get to know some of you a little bit more! It's nothing invasive, promise. What I'm proposing is...!





You see, I used to work at a magical cafe called "The Midnight Grind." Currently, I don't work as a barista but I'll have to polish up my skills again. These are a small sample of the drinks I would serve to customers from all different corners of all the different worlds!

Anyway, just look at this image and see which drink and description you're drawn to most, and let me know! It gives me a good idea of what to make for others in the future. Just have fun with it! Oh and maybe tell me about your favorite drink?? ☕🍵

I will, however, make that boba for you! It probably won't be the same as the way, my boss Iona made it. She was very proud of that drink after testing out a lot of variations that Oren disapproved of almost every time.

But therapy aside, if you had to choose one out of the top three, what would it be?
I personally like matcha lattes quite a bit with non-dairy milk and maple syrup. Oh, lavender syrup is great too!

I'm not going to pretend any of them are healthy, but most of them that have sugar are wonderfully balanced (not No.5 though, that's a purposeful custom abomination... but the customer is always right and all that jazz...)
I mean, I still have a lot to learn, but my fellow barista, Oren, is by all accounts a magnificent drink mixer and chef.

Hmm. I'd need more funding but in all honesty, aside from my accounting skills, I can't say my business sense is all that refined.
But I do like making cafe drinks for others.

Matcha is a powder made of specially grown green tea leaves that's made into a fine green powder. It's really prized for its vivid green color and its grassy, bitter, but mellow flavor. Perfect for more refined desserts and drinks! 🍵

[She's learned a ton from Oren and Iona, and the latter's enthusiasm kind of rubbed off of her, loathe as she is to admit.]

I do like a plain black coffee every now and then, at least with ice.
That's a good question. I feel like I'm pretty happy making drinks for other people without thinking about payment.
But if I do it for a lot of people, I might as well get my coin I guess.

Well, black coffee people either genuinely like drinking it that way, or they're trying to prove something by drinking it plain; hence the punchings.
Me, I like it every once and a while. It's good to taste the essence of the beans first and then get creative from there.

There are some who cannot handle the harshness of the hot and bitter truth. If they prefer to dampen it with milk and sugar, all the better for them. The best cup of coffee is the one that best matches one's tastes.
