text: shin.o. / age???
just wondering something.
what year were you born and how old are you? i'm from 1983, and last i remember, it was 2001. there are people who are close in age but are from different years in the future, making me old relatively, and i hate this.
... am i old to you?
(nope, 1985. still, he's sad.)

I believe even our ancient society had already advanced with space travels before Earth was ever conceived.

A little perspective never hurt, I suppose!

Admittedly 'a lot of great ideas but also an incredible capacity for self-destruction' could apply to Cybertronians as well.
[Maybe on a greater scale than humans....]

Can't say it was intentional though. Not like I had a machine or anything it was just part of my duty getting sent around wherever (and whenever??). Go where the trouble is and all that!
Maybe that's just a side effect of being curious, which I figure is a requirement for just about anything. No point in building spaceships if nobody's wondering what's out there to begin with.

How are you still in this condition after five million years?
no subject
Five million is within the normal lifespan of a Cybertronian.

I understand how learning of our lifespan may be shocking to you and many others here. Organic species tend to have short lifespan, humans remarkably so.

And yes, our lifespans are quite miniscule in comparison. It's strange to think of it that way, but your age is impressive.

Yet despite your miniscule lifespans, I am in a way impressed with the progress humanity has made and their accomplishments for a race so young. At least with the humans I am familiar with on my universe.

But, that's neither here nor there. I'm just amazed by how long you've been here.

Nuch older than most sapient beings here, I believe.
I know you are fascinated by me and certainly have questions about our kind. Now seems to be a good opportunity to satiate your curiosities, if you have any.
[In other words, ask him stuff. Plus, he thinks this is a good opportunity to improve upon his bad social skills.]
