just wondering something.


what year were you born and how old are you? i'm from 1983, and last i remember, it was 2001. there are people who are close in age but are from different years in the future, making me old relatively, and i hate this.

... am i old to you?

I have, yet the universe is a vast place. There always seem to be something new to learn or that could even surprise me.

I understand how learning of our lifespan may be shocking to you and many others here. Organic species tend to have short lifespan, humans remarkably so.

That is true. I suppose being here is proof of that in itself.

And yes, our lifespans are quite miniscule in comparison. It's strange to think of it that way, but your age is impressive.

It is. Even in 'hell', one does not stop experiencing something new.

Yet despite your miniscule lifespans, I am in a way impressed with the progress humanity has made and their accomplishments for a race so young. At least with the humans I am familiar with on my universe.

Hmm. We are quite powerful, despite our short lifespan. Capable of leaving an impact on the worlds we're a part of, for better or worse.

But, that's neither here nor there. I'm just amazed by how long you've been here.

[Much like any races, they all have the capacity to leave on an impact on a planet. Or worse, capable of spreading that to other planets across the galaxy.]
