It has come to our understanding that an invitation to attend the grand opening of Sai no Kawara, a joint venture of the Shuten and Tamamo clans.

Our investigation into illicit "Stardust" trade has made it imperative that we accept this invitation, and attend as keepers of Order and to assure that all dealings are "above level".

Representatives of the Department of the Enma will be allowed participation in Tanabata festivities including, but not limited to; wish-making, consumption of alcoholic beverages, moderated gambling, sessions with hosts and other service workers, and dancing.

Considering the situation we found ourselves earlier in the summer, it has been advised that relaxation and diversion may be necessary to assure a functional work force. Therefore it should be considered part of your work to attend this "grand opening", both as a keeper of Order and as a matter of personal activity.

I suppose that's true. But I mean, he's capable of sending messages out to just those of us who work for him, isn't he? If we know he needs help, we can make it even easier for him to keep up a strong front for everyone else.

Is Enma-san a god? Or would Haniyasu be the only god we're dealing with here.

Lord Enma isn't a god. He's closer to a bodhisattva, but he's not really that, either. He is someone imbued with power and purpose by the authorities of Heaven.
