Hello, new lost souls of the Tamamo Clan! My name is Shinmen Musashi no Kami Fujiwara no Harunobu, but you can just call me Miyamoto Musashi. Or just Musashi, really, I'm not hung on formality.

I am your high-lieutenant and main liaison for Lost Souls here in the Tamamo Clan! My own lieutenant is Shylock Bennett, and the other seniors are Robin Laffite, Tenshi Hinanawi, Jin Guangyao, Nie Huaisang, Gao Yizhi, Chongyun, Aerith Gainsborough, and... Billy The Kid. Just call him Billy.

A-anyways, those are the names of folks you can go to if you have any questions or needs! We're all here to help you get settled!

Firstly, as representatives of the Tamamo Clan, while we don't have a formal dress code, you are expected to dress nicely, as nicely as you can manage, anyways. Given what our clan represents, this probably makes sense, but if you need help getting nicer stuff, the local boutiques and tailors DO have a work-exchange program where you can get some good clothes in exchange for a little labor.

Also, most importantly... [ She gestures to the shiny pin on her jacket lapel, the kanji for Tamamo emblazoned on it. ] If you're on the clock, you'll want this on display at all times. We have plenty of them here at Mizukume, so stop by the offices to grab yours. Trust me, it's important.

There'll be a party of some sort soon to make sure everyone gets to know one another, but otherwise, you guys have a free week to just settle then. After that, we all have to get to work, okay?

excellent question! in truth "on the clock" means anytime you're representing the clan. that can mean a lot of things. official business, out patrolling the city, official gatherings, that sort of thing.

I will say, uhm, if you’re not comfortable with the kind of hosting or entertainment jobs that are the most common in Tamamo territory, there are alternatives. If you’re more combat-inclined, a lot of places hire security staff, and I myself mostly help with scheduling and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes. So, don’t feel pressured to put yourself out there if you’re uncomfortable!
