The upcoming Σ(*ﾉ´>ω<｡`)ﾉ BEACH PARTY!! ヽ(´ω｀○)ﾉ.+ﾟ*｡:ﾟ+ is a manner of social gathering I am not familiar with.

My attempts to research have led to such a wide range of activities and manners of dress¹ that I'm unsure what to expect or how to prepare.


So,

What are my fellow Lost Souls wearing to this affair-?
Can one arrive over-dressed to such an occasion-?²

Insight would be greatly appreciated.

¹Researching "beach fashion" largely results om what I can charitably describe as wet lingerie.^3
2It seems coming under dressed is nearly impossible.

I believe nude is the only way to arrive underdressed, Azem.

Though, in my research, some beaches do seem to allow that?

I would think a nude event would merit a more particular announcement.

I had no intention of arriving nude, swimming on the other hand.

I suppose that is true. I will need to find something to wear.

If you choose your feminine presentation, there seems to be much more variety of options with such beach lingerie.

[honestly, the more femme swimwear fits they've seen in their research are extremely cute to Ydris. Again, they're not going to complain about wet lingerie!

On others, at least. Get them near the water and all they'll be is a very salty candle, figurately and literally]

I did notice a greater variety for feminine forms.

The masculine choices seem more comfortable, though impractical for swimming.

If you wish to go shopping with me, we can pick ourselves out something. I can't help you on deciding what is best for the water, but I have a keen enough eye otherwise.

What budget are you working with? Run through your Celestial money already, or no-?

[thrift store swimwear sounds... a bit unpleasant. Seems like something that should be bought new. They don't have a body, though, so maybe they're wrong about that]

[ Azem is terrible with money, which makes sense when it's of little import back home. ]

I should have enough for just about anything we look at.
