The upcoming Σ(*ﾉ´>ω<｡`)ﾉ BEACH PARTY!! ヽ(´ω｀○)ﾉ.+ﾟ*｡:ﾟ+ is a manner of social gathering I am not familiar with.

My attempts to research have led to such a wide range of activities and manners of dress¹ that I'm unsure what to expect or how to prepare.


So,

What are my fellow Lost Souls wearing to this affair-?
Can one arrive over-dressed to such an occasion-?²

Insight would be greatly appreciated.

¹Researching "beach fashion" largely results om what I can charitably describe as wet lingerie.^3

I'll just be wearing a regular swimsuit which isn't really exciting but the fun is in the accessories!

I'm glad you think so especially since I can't claim to put much effort into it at all. Mostly I wear what I like!

You've probably noticed I appreciate hats! In this case shirts count too since they're technically extra.

A hat makes practical sense, as well, if the point is to be out beneath the sun. I suppose we'll be inside a complex of some kind, the wind shouldn't risk spoiling the day or stealing a hat.
