I'm known as "Monts" and I'm an officer from the Tamamo Clan. Happy to make your acquaintance. With the new crop of Lost Souls that have found this corner of hell, I hope you've settled in with whatever faction you're assigned to and that you had a great welcome. 💖

Anyway, I want to get to know some of you a little bit more! It's nothing invasive, promise. What I'm proposing is...!





You see, I used to work at a magical cafe called "The Midnight Grind." Currently, I don't work as a barista but I'll have to polish up my skills again. These are a small sample of the drinks I would serve to customers from all different corners of all the different worlds!

Anyway, just look at this image and see which drink and description you're drawn to most, and let me know! It gives me a good idea of what to make for others in the future. Just have fun with it! Oh and maybe tell me about your favorite drink?? ☕🍵

...Maybe on second thought, a meatball flavored boba drink wouldn't be that great. I wouldn't want to risk having an upset stomach and throwing up all over the place.

Yeah? Well, let's pretend you find yourself in a situation in which you are presented with a choice between meatball flavored boba drink and slime lizard tail tea which would you choose?

I rather jump off a roof if I ever have anything like that! Besides, it'll taste like broth if I drink meatballs!

Think of it this way, at least, the meatballs would be cooked first. I doubt that any drink composed of slime condensate and lizard tails would be placed over a fire. Depending on the temperature at which the drink is served, of course.

By the way. How high would that roof be?

And it is cooked. I wouldn't have to worry about how all that slime would down on my body. Just thinking about it is giving me the shivers! Ugh, how gross.

...Depends on how it is.

On or in. Because there is a stark difference between the two. Consider that perhaps not giving it thought would make downing either drink much easier...?

I can't say I would be too worried if you decided to jump off the 7-eleven's roof.

Perhaps but it wouldn't make it any easier. If anything, it might make my stomach hurt even more.

Is that your way of saying you want to see me jump off the 7-eleven roof?

Easier to consume. I never mentioned any of the repercussions.

Not at all, if you consider height, it wouldn't be all that impressive. Now if you mention planning to jump off Kaigo no Bou's roof then that would be cause for concern. Although perhaps it's survivable? Don't. It's not a suggestion.

You make it sound like I would even attempt to jump off such a high building. As reckless as I can be, I would never try to do anything that dangerous!

At least, not without some assistance of sorts.

You mean to say the lack of a wind glider is all that's stopping you?

Where would you even obtain a wind glider from?

I'm not sure.

I could try to make one but I doubt it'll work.

I think at that point you'd just want to drink bone broth.
And even that's more of a meal than a drink.

But aside from milk tea, there are the usual fruit ones and such!

But you have to admit, it'll be interesting! I wonder how that would be like. Broth and all!

But please do enlighten me, what are the usual fruit flavors?

Are we sure we're just talking about a meatball broth-based soup instead of a drink?

Other fruit flavors are basic ones like strawberry, mango, and peach
And then there's wintermelon, lychee, and kumquat lemon.

But that is the biggest question now though. Would you consider a broth soup or a drink? Because I am curious on what your answer is!

But that is quite the variety of flavors. Any you would recommend?

Normally, that'd question short circuit my brain but
If I drink to fill my stomach, it's a soup.
If I drink to slake my thirst, it's actual drinking.

I didn't mention it, but I think grapefruit tea is really tasty. Mix it with grass jelly or aloe vera and it makes a good treat.

But there is only so much that soup or a drink can do! Why can't a soup satiate your thirst? Or a drink for your hunger?

[Where was Hu Tao going with this? She wasn't sure but she was just having the time of her life right now.]

I see. Then perhaps I shall order that instead if it is truly as good as you say it is. Woe is me that I have yet to find the time for it these days!

Because soup makes me thirstier?

You'll be able to find grapefruit tea pretty easily. Sometimes I see it in the conbini stores too.

Does it? I'm surprised, I thought it would help alleviate some thirst!

You'll be surprised at how many wants to be buried here.

If anything, I'm more surprised at how picky they are. I wasn't expecting so many who wanted to be cremated or want to see a dead body.

It certainly brings a tear to my eyes knowing that so many are interested.
