Hello again, everyone. This is Inspector Ichimonji Norimune, but just Norimune is fine.

I'm here to extend my offer to anyone who wants training. Whether it's to keep yourself sharp or starting to learn, I welcome any fighting styles and skill levels to join me in the training hall. I'm a simple swordsman, but this old man may offer some insight and challenge. Or if I don't, it's still good to keep training. You don't have to wait and talk to me over that EMBER application for this, everyone in the Department is free to approach me for training.

[Some of the more established Department members may notice Norimune is often in the training hall before, so it's not entirely a strange idea.]

Oh, if you can't fight and feel left out? I'm always up for a chat at any other time, uhahaha!

[Norimune is right there, seemingly at ease as he looks over at Cain's excitable entrance.]

[He can't see you old man! But he does follow the sound of the voice so he can hold out a hand for Norimune to touch. Once that was out of the way, he's already eagerly drawing his sword.]

I can finally show you my original sword! It was a gift from the royal family, and it's become my magic focus too.

[The sword that Cain draws is clearly one that would be considered more Western make; it resembled a tsurugi more than anything else, as it was double edged. It wasn't an old sword, but clearly something considered expensive and well made for someone of Cain's standard-and it was very obviously well cared for.

Cain holds the hilt in one hand, and the blade in the other so Norimune can see it properly.]

Well, not that I'm not thankful for the other sword helping me out there for awhile, but this is my original partner here.

[It's clearly magical too, due to it being a wizard's focus.]

Oh actually, I learned something really cool though. I don't know if you know Hizen, but he's actually a sword spirit. He told me that once a sword gets to be 100 years old, there's a chance it can manifest something like that. Swords really are amazing, huh?
