Robots and artificial intelligence, I am assuming?

If so, I want to at least make it clear that they are nothing alike Cybertronians. For one, we are a naturally occurring species, much like humans.

Our metal possesses a self-replicating cellular structure and a genetic code.

So similar to human beings, but metal, then. And you can grow like them, too?

Yes. Our metal is harvested along with our spark- a physical soul, if you will -from the surface of our homeplanet, Cybertron. Starting as nothing more than a geographic shape, a newborn protoform follows the genetic instruction hard-coded within the spark to develop our limbs and the necessary components for an alt mode. Then, when the metal becomes a proper solid form, young Cybertronian starts to imprint on their surroundings.

It takes two weeks at maximum for a forged Cybertronian to be fully grown.

There is another method how a Cybertronian is created. Cold construction. Frozen sparks put into artificially created bodies. Although cold constructed bots had its controversies and carried social stigma in past Cybertron, where we lived under apartheid in the early years.

And then this cold construction. A most complicated dilemma, morally and philosophically speaking. Does the body make the soul, or vice versa?

It's not too dissimilar from Servants, though we're not made of metal. Most of us, anyhow.
