-Helper NPC: YDRIS, added to help users within EMBER, Go!
-YDRIS can be set to automatically feed and pamper collected "Little Lost Souls™".

Well, I know two things are true, at least.

One, this isn't supposed to be happening. Lost Souls from other worlds aren't part of the system, here.

And two, it started happening relatively recently, as far as anyone knows.

Beyond that, theories go all over the place. Personally, I have no idea where to even start with it.

Nor do I. The supernatural is far beyond my understanding.

Supposing too many Lost Souls congregate in this place, do you suppose Tenkohime might... speed our contracts along, as it were? It would be the simplest way to fix any problems t that arise as a consequence of us being here.

We're a valuable resource; something they can't get normally. Whatever problems we're causing by being here, we're offsetting by being useful in other, more important areas.

If you were in a constant state of tension with other powers, would you really turn away mercenaries showing up at your door, even if you had to find space for them?

"Mercenaries" suggests people are doing this as a willing trade, and not by coercion.

[In other words: no, he wouldn't, because he has moral objections to the premise of the question itself. But, he realises there's little use in complaining about it now.]

But I see your point. To her, using us is in her best interests. To that end, I imagine she'll draw out our contracts for as long as possible.
