An Update has just been installed, welcome to EMBER 3.1!

BUGFIXES & UPDATES
-Increased stability and quicker performance.
-Improved accuracy of [various] data tracking.
-EMBER Go! increase in spawn points throughout the city.
-WARNING added; "If USERS trespass upon any part of the city they are not allowed in order to collect characters, do be quick about it.
(EMBER is not liable for injury nor legal troubles which may be incurred.)"

-Helper NPC: YDRIS, added to help users within EMBER, Go!
-YDRIS can be set to automatically feed and pamper collected "Little Lost Souls™".
(This feature costs Dragon Coins at an hourly rate.)

-CAPTCHA Temporarily disabled.

That's a great way to look at it. Besides, it's fun to be scared sometimes, isn't it? When you know you're safe. It's the same reason people enjoy rollercoasters.

That's the weird thing, I think I'm fine with scary things like rollercoasters or other amusement park rides. But the haunted house or a scary movie? I usually can't do it... Maybe it's the ghosts or how the long black hair always hides the pale faces of those scary demon girls ...

I guess that makes sense, it isn't the exact same kind of fear.

I used to be able to say ghosts and demons aren't real, but obviously that's not the case. I work with a few.

Yeah. The first time I saw a ghost it was a hand that tried to grab me by the throat through a grilled snack street cart... I'm still trying to get used to it too.

I hope you don't work with any scary demons?? Are they are least nice to you?

They're the same as humans, essentially, some are nice and some aren't, and you can't really judge by appearance. Some of the scariest looking ones can be very sweet, and some that we would think of as beautiful are cruel.

I haven't worked with a lot of them yet. I wonder if that'll change soon.

Some do one, some do the other, some do both. Although I tend to watch most movies multiple times, so obviously the ones that scare me can only really do so the first time when I don't know what to expect.
