I have. They have been frustratingly reticent on the matter.

In the absence of being able to verify your credentials, they likely want some other way of seeing that you know your way around the place. Did they turn down any idea of demonstration?

Truthfully, I'm not particularly interested in working with a department that has so much oversight. What I do is highly specialized and difficult for laymen to understand. I have no need to explain my research or methods.

Then you will not be able to find a single institution willing to take you on as so much an apprentice. You start from the bottom as a newcomer, or you create your own facilities. Those are your options.

A waste of brilliance. Next you will say I have to put in clinic hours next.

You sound as though you have knowledge of the medical systems within the city.

I do. I made it a priority to learn as much as I could within the first week of my arrival. It's been over six months since then.
