Ah. Wait. He just fessed up to his birthday. Oops.
]
Christmas. It's not as big of a holiday in Japan as it is in other countries, but it
is
still celebrated.

I don't mind it too much.

But, again: he's not really a birthday celebrator.

Christmas isn't a public holiday, so yes, for the most part, shops stay open. It's Christmas Eve that gets the busiest, though. Lots of people out on dates or going shopping.

Honestly, she kind of likes birthdays? It's a moment of normalcy in the midst of so many not-normal things.
But, huh. Things open on Christmas. That's different.
)
sounds like Christmas Eve is the same, then.
(
Maybe not the dates? But people rushing around for presents? Definitely.

What's a holiday without a bunch of customers to rope into spending their money? That's the same all over the world.
[
Seeing as she asked, though.
]
Is it your birthday or a friend's coming up?

So you were getting ideas, after all?
I hope it's a good one. Even just a meal would be a nice way to celebrate, I think. It's difficult when you're far from home.
