I wouldn't mind hearing some ghost stories. Though, if it's a ghost telling it, wouldn't they just be stories?

They could but what is the fun of saying it's ghost stories? That takes away the spookiness and mystery behind it.

No! I was just wondering. If we tell stories about ourselves we don’t call them “human” stories.

Even so, it still takes away how mysterious ghost stories could be!

It'll just be boring to call them "stories" and there will be less people who would be willing to listen.

Perhaps but labeling it does allow people to make a note of how spooky a story is going to be.

Calling himself friendly ... it sounds like a way to mislead innocent people.
