Hello. I have a question for all the Lost Souls:
What is love in your reality?
To be more specific, I am talking about the kind of love you find between two lovers. I realize how strange this question may sound. But this is very important to me and I would appreciate it if as many people as possible could reply to this with serious answers.
PS: please don't reply with a link to Haddaway's song.

[ It was truly a beautiful answer. But also a painful one because none of the things she described corresponded to her experience. She had had hope and devotion... But that had been it. ]
With your answer and all the others... I think what I felt wasn't love. Not even close to it. I had no face to think of when I smiled. No name to hear to warm me. No scent to to remember them by.
Thank you. It is a painful thing to confirm, but I think this will help me going forward.

In that case, then pray forgive me for being the bearer of bad news. Although, as I said, there are many different kinds of love...if you would like, perhaps you could describe the feeling you had, and we can tackle it from there? It never hurts to have another's viewpoint on things.

Honestly I feel silly just typing that. It's painfully obvious that's not love.

It would probably help if he knew what a computer program was and what "forth wall breaking" meant, huh?Still, the way she describes it is sweet, in a way.]Perhaps not romantic love, then, yes. But it is clear that you held a deep admiration for this person...and that is worth something as well. Even if it isn't "love", per se.
If I may offer advice: hold on to such a feeling. Let it inspire you and bring you comfort, regardless of what name you put to it.
Of course, I do hope that you eventually get to experience love as well. It's quite delightful.

That was too much to reveal to a stranger on an anon post. Besides, she didn't even understand all of it. Her existence, her reality, the player. How could she hope to properly explain it to another? ]
I still remember how I felt back then. It was like suddenly being able to breath, when mere seconds prior you were desperately drowning. A cool and comforting breeze amidst a raging inferno. It is difficult to explain. But you are right. Something that powerful has to be worth holding onto.
Thank you. I suppose you must speak from experience, right? I do hope you and the one you love will have a beautiful happily ever-after.
