Hello. I have a question for all the Lost Souls:

What is love in your reality?

To be more specific, I am talking about the kind of love you find between two lovers. I realize how strange this question may sound. But this is very important to me and I would appreciate it if as many people as possible could reply to this with serious answers.

Did you think your idea of love was compatible with them?

I thought so. But ultimately, I was proved wrong.

I'm not giving up on love though. But I want to make sure I know what love truly is first.

Hm. I think trying to pin down something specific about it might be a hindrance, but it's better to have the question float around than not.
My grandma told me once
Love can be a feeling
But it's also a choice.
I'm not sure if I totally bought it
still, it lives on in my mind.

I think it makes sense. It may even explain a lot.

It's something to stew about, that's for certain.
If it wasn't, I wouldn't have brought it up.
That said, are you thinking about getting into a romantic relationship here?

Yes.

But I want to make sure if and when I do, it'll be... Love. And not something I call love but is in fact something else.

Well, it's nice to see people be a go-getter here!
I haven't thought much of getting together with anyone myself.
But I think you're on the right track with questioning things as it were.

Well then, I dare hope we'll both be fortunate in our endeavors.

Even if you don't plan to get together with someone... I like to believe those things happen regardless.
