Hello. I have a question for all the Lost Souls:

What is love in your reality?

To be more specific, I am talking about the kind of love you find between two lovers. I realize how strange this question may sound. But this is very important to me and I would appreciate it if as many people as possible could reply to this with serious answers.

PS: please don't reply with a link to Haddaway's song.

[ a sexy gandalf, if you will. ]

Indeed I am. I am Shylock Benett, a wizard of the West and a junior lieutenant of the Tamamo Clan. It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance, dear Anonymous.

Romantic love may as well be the most powerful form of love there is. I did not mean to say that it was nonexistent, but there are other forms of love that can't simply be categorized as this and that. Anything that makes your heart throb both in elation and in excruciating pain counts as love.

Not at all. If romantic love is what makes your world go round, then that shouldn't stop you from pursuing it. Be in with a human, an inhuman, an object or even an abstract concept.

Yes, precisely. Even if it hurts every now and then. In fact, it wouldn't be love at all if there's no pain garnered from it.

But is that so? That's not so surprising. We Western wizards advocate for love in all forms. Shall we fall in love, we do it wholeheartedly. Not everyone shares our ideals, and that is fine.
