Hello. I have a question for all the Lost Souls:
What is love in your reality?
To be more specific, I am talking about the kind of love you find between two lovers. I realize how strange this question may sound. But this is very important to me and I would appreciate it if as many people as possible could reply to this with serious answers.
PS: please don't reply with a link to Haddaway's song.

I’m sorry to hear that. Reading that it didn’t work out for you makes my heart hurt …
But maybe it would be worth it to discuss what you need in order to feel loved? Like, do you prefer being given presents, being told nice things? I think everyone responds to love differently, and needs to have it expressed differently. Maybe it was just a miscommunication?

[ Oops, that had been a bit of a slip up there...! Thankfully her interlocutor didn't really catch on anything weird. She hoped. ]
I think miscommunication may have been a factor... As for what I'd need to feel loved, gosh. I guess for someone to be as dedicated to me as I am to them. You know, the sort of fairytale scenario where if I was a princess imprisoned in a tower, they'd be my knight in shining armor who save me! I kind of have a symbiotic view on relationships...

To be honest, I think that this kind of thing is really common! Especially for girls? Most of us want someone who will protect us, and be kind to us, right!! A gentleman that will spoil us… [ this topic makes her heart race! ]
I wonder what a man would think about this? They might see things really differently…

I'm not sure about boys... Honestly I think a lot of them do have dreams like that too. But they're afraid if they admit it, other boys will mock them or whatnot.
Maybe we should try asking them sometimes, ahaha!

Now that I think of it, it might be nice to be the one doing the protecting sometimes... don't you think? Would you ever want to try that, anonymous-san? Like a princess that wears the armor.
I really want to ask them now!! But how would I even word that? Would it be like, "what do you think a relationship should be like?" or "what kind of relationship would you like to have?". "Do you want to be the princess?"

[ With things like depression and mental health issues. Sometimes you could save people if you found the right words... That made her think of Sayori. In fact, what with how enthusiastic that girl sounded that really reminded her of Sayori. Made her wonder if she hid something deeper too... ]
Gosh, that's tricky. Well if it's one on one, you don't have to word it like a direct question. During a conversation, when appropriate just innocently start a tangent. Like if you're watching a movie, just say "Don't you think sometimes the Knight would like to be the one rescued?" and see how they react. [...] But if it's on the network like now, then I guess a more direct question would be appropriate.
5000 years later o9
hearing it from this stranger was almost bitter-sweet.
mitsuri isn't usually good at being indirect, so hearing a tip on how to use "tangents" is helpful. ]
If I approach one of my friends about this, would you like to hear the kinds of things they have to say?
I'm not sure how to reach you, but it would be nice to keep talking with a girl about this.
A lot of my female friends are really scientific thinkers, so it's a little difficult to make conversations out of this topic with them.
[ not that it makes her love them any less or anything like that! ]
aha, it's okay!
I would love to hear it! Truth to be told, I don't have many friends who are really interested in romantic and cute stuff either...
[ Maybe... Maybe if she told just one person. ]
I can privately remove the anon filter, but. [How to word it?] Can you promise not to tell anyone who posted this? Most people must think this is super cheesy.
And I'd rather avoid people looking at me weirdly.
