Hello, everyone! I thought it'd be a good time to welcome in all our newest Alliance Lost Souls!

I'm Sakamoto Ryouma — but just Ryouma is fine! — and a lot of people around here know I'm a Lieutenant and a main point of contact for any business with the Alliance. If you need anything, you can always come to me, and I'll at least try and help you find what you're looking for.

That being said, you've got plenty of good people around here you can look to also! The rest of you aren't off the hook~!

My newest co-Lieutenant is Matoba Seiji. [ so feel free to bother him now too, haha! ] Emily Dyer will be acting as my second, and if you don't already know where the clinic is, you should familiarise yourself and help out a little!

You can also find your other seniors — Kim Kitsuragi, Yuri Leclerc, Xingqiu, Artemy Burakh, Cloud Strife, and Ydris — if you need anything!

You represent the Sutoku Alliance now, so keep that in mind! We don't really have much of a dress code or anything, but you should still get one of these pins, so people know what crew you're with.

We have 'em at Konoha and at plenty of other places, too, so just ask!

We're gonna have a get-together officially soon enough, but this is a good opportunity to get to know each other ahead of time! My advice to all of you is to learn as much as possible about this place and the people who live here, your fellow Lost Souls in the other factions included! Find something that interests you and dig right in! Always be paying attention because it's all in what you know.

I'm excited to say there will be a lotta interesting things going on around here soon enough, so I'll be counting on you all to do your best! You have a week to settle in and get comfortable before we'll be putting you to work, so don't hesitate to reach out if you need something in the meantime, got it?

One of my students is a teenager from Japan, so she taught me all about these.

They do seem popular with younger yokai than older ones...but I find them very charming nonetheless. I guess that comes with being childish myself... (‿_‿;) Not that it actually gets me down! 'Childish' can just mean 'approachable' sometimes!

There's no shame in embracing one's "childishness", in my opinion. The headmistress of Luna Nova was prone to indulgences in her inner youthfulness pretty often, finding joy in the sometimes silly or mundane. I think that's what made her an effective leader.

Actually, Daitengu- I'm sure you'll hear from them soon -seems a lot like that. Very eager to relax and have fun, but when things are serious, they act appropriately.

I know that probably sounds like propaganda or something for you new souls. (´▽`;) When I read back on the network here, some people were disgruntled by Daitengu's behavior, even...but it's for that reason that I'm happy being part of Sutoku! I don't think I would enjoy working under the other leaders as much, even if I do respect two of them.

Oh, their tengu mask! You mentioned your student was from Japan, so it makes sense you would be from elsewhere, I apologize. If I'm honest, seeing such a traditional mask here, among all these modern things...it makes me feel at home, a little. I'm from Japan, but not this "era" of Japan.

Are you a professor? No, if you were teaching teenagers, and there's a headmistress, I suppose it must be a form of boarding secondary school...
