- hizen used his rank to get a clothes drive/charity going on for the city. handwaving the logistics here but assume everyone gets at least one set of nice clothes from a shop of their choice.
- i really just wanted an excuse for everyone to get a nice yukata for the summer so assume there are definitely some kimono shops with summer deals, too. ( โกโฟโก *)

Regardless, you're right, people should take better care of their items. Some of their possessions are most like irreplaceable. It's a shame when people simply let their stuff fall apart or abandon them.
