[ Technically he's just putting the bare minimum of information that anyone could find out on it and not really USING it for its intended purpose beyond snooping on profiles and answers, rather than outright lying, but....yeah ]

You're not thinking broadly enough. These programs don't just stop at the data you input into the program itself. They look at your whole phone. Photos, videos, text, calls, all of it. Even if you tell it not to.

Yes of course but deleting the app does not get rid of the innate flaws in the devices methods.

Better to learn to protect yourself from those flaws, instead. Practice more careful, safe use.
